Working with Ian Hankey at Fab Lab Plymouth, and Katie Shanks at the renewable energy department at the University of Exeter in Penryn, we’ve been testing the impact of different etching processes on the efficiency of solar PV and you’d be surprised at some of the results!
Many thanks to The RSA’s Catalyst Fund for making this possible.
The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce)works to enrich society through ideas and action. The Catalyst Grant is available to Fellow-led projects that align with the RSA’s key themes, and offers help to utilise the expertise within the Fellowship to make the project a success.
Power Culture is a blog exploring our energy generation through the arts.
power-culture.com was developed with Regen to understand how artists all around the world are involved in our energy generation. The project was initially intended as a resource for community energy groups who were interested in how they could work with artists to increase and improve public engagement around energy through creative projects.
