Dartington School of Social Entrepreneurs – Graduation day

Chloe has been participating in a Dartington School of Social Entrepreneurs Start-up programme over the past year, to help her turn her idea for beautiful green energy generating installations into a reality.

She’ll be showing people her work along with 20 other new social entrepreneurs on the 17th October in Plymouth.

If you’re thinking about setting up your own business with a social purpose, Chloe has a limited number of tickets to the event where you’ll get a chance to see what’s possible when you decide to work towards making the world a better place.

Demo session – Ocean Studios Making Table – Friday 12th July

We recently spent a fantastic day at The Big Bang Fair with young people from all across the South West and made a start on 7 new solar panel artworks.

On Friday 12th of July, Chloe, Naomi and Jenny plan to use Ocean Studios Making table in the cafe to do some of the next steps in fabricating the artworks. If you’d like to see us and chat to us about this work, then please pop along between 10am and 3pm.

Girl power

To be fair, no-one ever told me I couldn’t make solar panel artworks, no-one ever said I couldn’t work in a STEM job and no-one said power-tools are for boys.

But somehow I still felt like power was in the male domain.

We think giving young people the chance to experience their ability to make electricity can give confidence to participate in discussions about our energy future.
