Adopt our Solar Door
If you’ve been following the work of Art and Energy for a while then you might recall our rather splendid solar door.
We co-created this solar artwork back in March 2020 in partnership with Arts and Culture at the University of Exeter. Staff and students at the University of Exeter learnt how to solder and connect solar cells and created our solar door with the support and guidance of the Art and Energy team.
We are now delighted to be able to offer organisations and groups the chance to host our solar door for a period of time in 2023.
We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to host the door - tell us more about yourself, your organisation, where you would display the door and roughly how many people would see the door in place.
We’d also like to know what could you offer Art and Energy in exchange for hosting the door?
Please note our solar door will be available from Easter 2023, it needs to be placed in sunlight in order for it to generate electricity and it measures 196cm by 80cm.
