Art and Agency project begins

Listen to Dr Lewis Winks introducing eco-anxiety and its impact on individuals and society.

An introduction to eco-anxiety

Art and Energy have launched their Art and Agency project in partnership with Dr Lewis Winks at the University of Exeter and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

This collaborative research project aims to better understand how eco anxiety is affecting adults, and how creative skills and activities can help us to respond to it and take action in our communities.

Eco-anxiety is a relatively new area of research and on this page you can listen to Dr Lewis Winks presenting a summary of recent research into this subject.

Art and Agency project begins with Inky Fingers

The Art and Agency project has recruited ten Exeter based organisations to join our research project, representatives will take part in a series of weekly workshops with a creative theme.

At our first workshop we made these glorious notebooks with Inky Fingers, Exeter. This hands-on session was the perfect start to the project, bringing everyone together for a creative task - these will be our journals for the journey of our Art and Agency project.
