Bricks Bristol podcast - Hope, Climate, Moss & Creativity

In 2024, Art and Energy were commissioned by Bricks Bristol to deliver a public art programme for people local to the new residential development at Brick Kiln Court in Easton, Bristol. On Thursday 15th February, we ran The Mossy Carpet workshops for pre-school children at Raised In Bristol Felix Road Nursery and for children and their families at Eastside Community Trust’s Felix Road Adventure Playground.

Part of our day with Bricks was the recording of a podcast featuring Chloe, Naomi and Jenny from Art and Energy, plus Bryologist Matt Stribley and Helen Meech, Executive Director of The Climate Coalition.

You can also hear the heart-warming voice messages from the Tardigrade Telephone which was recording during the workshops that happened at Felix Road Adventure Playground.

Special thanks to the individuals at Raised in Bristol Felix Road, Eastside Community Trust, Felix Road Adventure Playground, and the local community in and around Brick Kiln Court, Easton. Thank you to Rowan Bishop for producing the episode.

Listen below or via the #BricksPodcast Spotify also available across + iTunes, search Bricks Bristol and subscribe.
