Did you send us milk bottle moths for our Moths to a Flame art installation at Glasgow Botanic Gardens? We kept hold of all your precious moths and can now reveal that they have been used to help us create our geodesic dome structure.

The Art and Energy team recently spent a wonderful creative day with our friends at Plymouth Energy Community, we came together to create the geodesic dome.

Our main task was to iron together sheets of thousands of your milk bottle moths into triangular shapes to hang within the frame. The dome will be used for years to come to promote our work at future events and conferences.

Come and find us at our next event and see if you can spot your moths!

Our Moths to a Flame geodesic dome will be available for groups and organisations to hire, please get in touch for more details - hello@artandenergy.org

Watch us create the Moths to a Flame geodesic dome.

Thank you to Jim Wileman for the wonderful film and photos of our dome creation day.
