Mosses and peatlands at Glastonbury Festival 2024

Art and Energy have been busy sharing our love of mosses and peatlands with the crowds at Glastonbury Festival. We were delighted to be invited to display our work on the Green Futures Field in a round-house pitch.

The Mossy Carpet decorated the walls and we filled the central column with mossy terrariums made from recycled beer kegs from a local scrapstore. An upcycled telephone table was embellished with mossy pompoms so visitors could record a message with their tiny actions for a brighter greener future.

Visitors to The Mossy Carpet round-house could speak to our team about the importance of mosses, peatlands and nature friendly & regenerative farming.

Our grateful thanks to the three organisations who sponsored our pitch and our work to share these important mossy messages:

Dartmoor National Park, Farming in Protected Landscapes (FIPL) project

IUCN UK Peatland Programme

South West Peatland Partnership
