The Big Green Trail: Plymouth

In June 2024, Art and Energy took part in Plymouth’s city wide event - The Big Green Trail, organised by Climate Connections Plymouth and designed to celebrate fantastic blue and green projects across the city.

We were delighted to go along to The Box in Plymouth and set up The Mossy Carpet outside St Luke’s Church where we reached out to visitors and passers-by and encouraged everyone to slip their shoes off and talk a walk of fame along The Mossy Carpet artwork!

Invited to join us were the Local Climate Legends who paraded along The Mossy Carpet to highlight how these fabulous people go above and beyond to help our city and our planet.

We were delighted to talk to over 250 people about our work and our love of mosses and to encourage everyone to leave a message with their tiny actions for a brighter greener future on our Tardigrade Telephone.

Our thanks to Climate Connections Plymouth for inviting us to be part of this special day. Thank you to Fotonow CIC for the fabulous photos and video footage.
