The Mossy Carpet celebration at The Box, Plymouth

Join Art and Energy for our celebration of The Mossy Carpet on Saturday 22nd June, 10am - 4pm at The Box, Plymouth.

Thanks to generous Crowdfunder support, we have worked with over 10,000 people sharing our knowledge of mosses and making mossy textile tufts and The Mossy Carpet has grown to over 50 metres long!

On 22nd June, everyone is invited to come along and take a celebratory walk along our epic moss inspired artwork and share your tiny actions for a brighter, greener future. To protect The Mossy Carpet, we will ask everyone walking on the artwork to take their shoes off but keep their socks on.

There will also be the chance to hear The Mossy Story, our new audio book for children, written by local writer and performer Micha Colombo. Times to be confirmed.

The Mossy Carpet celebrations will take place rain or shine, we will be inside The Box on a rainy day but hope we can be outside in the sunshine in Tavistock Place.

Everyone is welcome at this celebratory event, children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no need book, drop in any time between 10am - 4pm and join in with The Mossy Carpet fun.

Saturday 22nd June is The Big Green Trail event, taking place across Plymouth with activities across the city. Find more details on the Climate Connections website of all the locations with activities plus free Beryl bike rides and children go free on City Bus.
