BURY the GIANT Badges

Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on a new DIY Badge design using up remnants of ply, threads and beads from our recent projects.

This will be one of our first challenges for our new online platform for anyone who wants to be creative for a brighter greener future - BURY the GIANT. Club which will be launching at the end of January.

You could make a badge for yourself, or to give to someone who you think has done something awesome in the face of the climate challenge.

Our question is - If we put together packs for people to adorn their own badges, should the packs include threads, fabric, beads, wire etc, or do you think that people will be able to find their own bits and bobs to make the badge?

About BURY the GIANT Club

Carbon looms large, it is the giant of our times.

Join The Art and Energy Collective in person and online as we journey deep into wild moss forests, seeking the inspiration and tools that will help us to BURY the GIANT.

Mosses show us that tiny actions make a big difference. When we work together we can bring abundance back to abandoned places.

Throughout 2023, summon your creative powers and find new ways to tackle the climate emergency.

Together we will use the power of art to:

  • help restore some moorland.

  • make green energy.

  • reduce carbon emissions.

  • raise funds to support people in fuel poverty.
