Art and Energy have recently delivered a double two day workshop in partnership with our friends at Plymouth Energy Community. The workshops were for participants of our PEC Pals Warm and Well project which started in August 2022 and continues to go from strength to strength.

The first part of the workshop invited participants to design and paint their main artwork - we had such a range of designs from a fox to a phoenix and a mix of nature inspired landscapes & seascapes.

The PEC Pals then returned a week later when the paint was dry to construct their wooden frames, solder the solar cells and build the electrical parts of the artwork.

The completed artworks charge up during the day via the solar cells incorporated into the artwork design and then light up at night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for these workshops, we love all your creative solar artwork designs! Our thanks to Plymouth FabLab for providing a great venue for these sessions.
