Volunteering with Art and Energy
Art and Energy are looking for volunteers to help us with our work. Our How to Bury the Giant project and BurytheGiant.Club will be the focus of our work in 2023 and we are looking for volunteers to assist us with various tasks relating to our new project.
We have the following volunteer roles available:
Bury the Giant Club Ambassador - join our Bury the Giant Club and invite others to join, welcome new members and encourage them to join in. Plus develop your own creative response to the climate emergency and share your journey on the Club.
Bury the Giant Club data analysis - help us understand the impact and reach of the Club, gather data generated by Club and process, analyse and evaluate the data.
Bury the Giant event assistant - assist the Art and Energy team with in person event delivery (mainly in Plymouth or Exeter) and/or assist with online event delivery.
About you - Art and Energy are looking for volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds with a range of skills and abilities. We welcome applications from those with an arts or sciences background, those with creative skills, those with an environmental/ecology background and those with a technology background too.
Volunteers are able to volunteer remotely from where ever they live so geography doesn’t need to be an issue! We would welcome your application and the chance to discuss your time commitment, ideally volunteers would give 2-6 hours a week to support us.
What can Art and Energy offer in return? Volunteering can help you build confidence and develop and/or share skills, it can help you connect with others and leaves you feeling valued and purposeful. We can offer you CV skills, networking & communication skills. Joining our BurytheGiant.Club offers you inspiration from a network of creatives and the chance to ‘find your tribe’.
